Hi Rebecca,
I read about the Mana-ay family in the paper and found this page. I see you are raising money so the Mana-aye family can return to the Phillipines, but I wonder if anyone is supporting them in a final appeal to the independent Immigration and Protection Tribunal? I would like to advocate for them. My parents immigrated to NZ when my sister and I were 2 and 10, and my brother Jimmy who had Down Syndrome was 8. I went on to become a NZ citizen and now work as a research scientist (inspired by my brother's condition). I think Immigration NZ have completely underestimated the contribution this family is currently making to our society and the contribution and inspiration they will provide in the future. please let me know if they would like support to apply to the Immigration and Protection Tribunal.
